- no such thing.. there isn't a "magic" init string (for ANY modem). The only magic is when a
- particular command works around a known bug :)

- I would recommend AT&F for connections to all modems. The exception would be in
- circumstances where you wish to force the carrier to a specific rate, or reduce EC/DC to
- workaround a known bug in either parties firmware.
