  21. for having an asymmetrical connect.. so the numbers are REALLY sketchy..
  22. I believe 28+ is required for a 28.8 (as reported by AT#E1)

  30. no such thing.. there isn't a "magic" init string (for ANY modem).  The only magic is when a 
  31. particular command works around a known bug :)

  33. I would recommend AT&F for connections to all modems.  The exception would be in 
  34. circumstances where you wish to force the carrier to a specific rate, or reduce EC/DC to 
  35. workaround a known bug in either parties firmware.
